State sponsored prank calling

In recent days our President Andrzej Duda spoke to the pair of pranksters who tried to impersonate

Emmanuel Macron. The situation occurred shortly after a missile killed two people on Polish territory. The impersonators asked about Ukraine, President Zelensky, and the actions that will be taken after the attack on Polish soil. Fortunately, Mr. Duda answered the questions in a very reserved way. Refusing to share any classified information over the phone.

This type of incident definitely doesn’t leave a good impression. It’s worth remembering that the duo Vovan and Lexus are skilled in pulling these pranks. Their previous stunts include calling figures like the President of  Turkey, the President of Moldova, Prince Harry, Canada’s Prime Minister, and Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. This duo is believed to be sponsored by Federal Security Service (Russia's principal security agency). Of course, the situation is very unusual and leaves a mark on the efficiency of  Polish safety measures

  1. This might also be FSB testing the weak spots in various security systems. Ours is clearly not exemplary.
